Cheeky was named after founder Jose Hevia’s father, who was nicknamed “Chiqui” (it means little one). To make the name easier to pronouce, it was westernized to Cheeky. The Latin-influenced cuisine served here features several signature items including tuna bocado, quick-seared yellow-fin tuna served in open faced taco shells with fresh avocado; tipico salad, a twist on typical taco salad and crab cake tacos, fritters with pineapple chipotle salsa. Wash it down with a custom margarita or one of the 24 draft beers.
